Do I have to set up my own tent?

No! Glamping On De Rock will pitch and style your tent at your chosen location. Once you have finished your experience, your glampion will return to pack up the tent and any enhancements. All you have to do is show up and relax.

Can I book online?

Yes, you can book our services by filling out our form on our contact us page or by calling us on 705-1550. Once your reservation is confirmed, you have the choice of paying cash or direct deposit. Glamping experiences will not commence unless payment is made in full prior to the reservation date.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made before 3 days of scheduled glamping experience will not be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled glamping experience will be charged 50% of the package price. 

If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, the guest may reschedule with no cancellation/rescheduling fees. In the case the event is cancelled due to inclement weather and the guest chooses not to reschedule, a cancellation fee of 25% of the package price will be charged. Please note, Glamping On De Rock reserves the right to cancel a glamping experience due to high winds, thunderstorms and heavy rain up to 24 hours to ensure the safety of their guests. 

Glamping On De Rock is not liable for any cost incurred by the guest in relation cancellations due to inclement weather and is responsible for finding an alternative experience. 

Are park location fees included in the reservation cost?

No, our hire fees cover delivery, labour and use of our tents and equipment. You will need to book your park location after reserving one of our tents. Any bookings and fees associated with your park location needs to be organized and paid directly to parks department or to the location owner.

How much is a special permit for parks? Are there conditions when using public campsites?

Campsites cost $14 per night, plus a refundable $100 deposit. Fees must be paid at the time of booking.

Campers should also know that:

  • Campsites are limited to residents of Bermuda (if you are a visitor you can overnight stay at your Hotel or Airbnb, at the moment)

  • Check-out time is 4:00 p.m.

  • Each site allows for a maximum of three tents (not to exceed 12 x 15 feet, including awnings) and eight people

  • Wood fires are not permitted

  • Maximum stay in each campground is 6 weeks

  • Garbage bags are provided for each site

  • No branches or trees should be cut down or the ground excavated

  • Generators are not permitted

  • Dogs are allowed (but not inside glamp tent)

Please be conscientious and keep noise to a minimum. The Department of Parks reserves the right to revoke and terminate any camping permit if the above regulations are not adhered to.

Do you have any preferred park locations?

Yes we do!  CLICK HERE for a list of locations. The Guest and his or her party must comply with any general regulations relating to and of our preferred locations and campsites. Some of these details include parking, noise control, waste disposal, recycling and so on. 

Can my pet come glamping?

Dogs are allowed around the tents, but not in the tents. Please see below for damage information in the case your pet “marks their territory” on the tent.

Will there be Bugs?!

Yes. This is still camping and nature is not 100% bug proof. Our tents are always clean and delivered to a high standard, but please keep in mind, you are outside. 

Are there bathrooms at your preferred locations?

Each site is different and the bathroom details are listed under the description for that site on our location page. Please make sure to read every description in full prior to booking. If you need clarification just call or email Glamping On De Rock. We can also hire private luxury mobile bathrooms as purchased enhancement.

Do your sites have WIFI?  

No, unless otherwise provided by any nearby hotels/homes. 

Can I smoke? 

There is no smoking inside any of our tents unless you booked #desmokelounge! Smoking is allowed outside only. We ask that you bring a container for storing your cigarette butts as we like to leave our locations as clean as we found them. Thank you! 

Yes. Guest must show up 10 mins prior to arrival time for orientation of glamping area. Guest must be ready to exit glamping area on time of departure. 

Can I cook? 

See above re: campfires/BBQs. If you choose to, you may cook food over your campfire or on your BBQ, but please keep in mind, there is no cooking INSIDE the glamp tents and all guests must comply with the parks department regarding clean up. Always remember, whenever camping or glamping, always leave your site as you found it! 

What if I damage something?

Breakages and damages must be reported as soon as possible by calling 705-1550. In the case the damage is from careless neglect and not general wear and tear, the guest is liable to pay the current retail value of each damaged or missing item(s).

How many guests can I bring? 

You can bring the amount of guests you booked for in your reservation. If you booked for 7 guests, you can bring up to 7 guests. In the case you would like to add guests, please contact us to amend your reservation. 

Do I need to arrive early before my reservation time?

Yes. Guest must show up 10 mins prior to arrival time for orientation of glamping area. Guest must be ready to exit glamping area on time of departure. 

Should I plan to leave it as I found it? What if I leave a mess? 

YES! It is expected that The Guests shall leave the tents and equipment in the same condition as it was left at the beginning of their reservation. In the case the site is left abnormally untidy, The Guest agrees to pay an additional fee based on cleaning requirements to cover the expense of the increased cleaning required.

Can I throw a wild party? 

Guests cannot use our experience(s) for the use of any dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities or become a nuisance or annoyance to Glamping On De Rock, the host or to any neighbors. 

Will Glamping On De Rock ever visit us during our experience? 

Glamping On De Rock and or its agents reserve the right to enter the tent at any time with reasonable cause. This includes taking care of any unforeseen (internal and/or external) remedial repairs, redecoration, special deliveries and/or to answer any complaints by guests or surrounding neighbors. 

Could we get evicted from our glamping experience? 

Glamping On De Rock reserves the right to ask the Guest and his or her party to leave the property and tent if deemed necessary by Glamping On De Rock. Reasons for eviction include anti-social behaviors, unreasonable breakages/damage, smoking or cooking inside the tents, not complying with the parks department, having an illegal campfire or having a campfire too close to the tents, complains from nearby neighbors, etc. Glamping On De Rock will give Guests the opportunity to rectify the breach. Failure to do so shall entitle Glamping On De Rock to terminate the reservation with no compensation to the Guests. 

What happens is one of my guests gets injured or losses something? 

Glamping On De Rock is not held responsible for loss or damage to the guests’ personal belongings or for injury sustained by the Guest or members of his or her party during their experience. Glamping On De Rock excludes liability for loss, damages or injuring that is caused by the negligence or default or breach of any duties. The guest shall be liable for and indemnify Glamping On De Rock against any liabilities, damages, claims, costs, losses (whether direct or indirect and including loss of profits) and expenses which arise from any breach by the guest of his or her obligations under the Agreement or from any negligence or willful default of the guest and or the guest’s party.
